Licensed Psychologist

I specialize in treating children, teens and adults with a wide range of presenting problems including: anxiety, obsessive compulsive disorder, high-functioning autism, learning challenges, disruptive behaviors, poor executive skills, and general emotional dysregulation. I thoroughly enjoy working with young people and their families, and believe that treatment should be holistic, collaborative, and carried out in a supportive and empathic environment. I employ evidence-based Cognitive Behavioral Treatment (CBT), Dialectical and Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Behavioral Intervention Plans, Parent-Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT), and Functional Behavioral Assessments.

EXPERIENCE

For over 20 years I have treated children and teens with a wide range of presenting problems, including anxiety, obsessive compulsive disorder, high-functioning autism, learning challenges, disruptive behaviors, poor executive skills, and general emotional dysregulation. Prior to starting my private practice, I completed an internship in child clinical psychology at Hawthorn Center and Wayne State’s University Psychiatric Center of Livonia. I worked for St. Joseph Mercy Hospital’s Outpatient Behavioral Health Center and at Beaumont Hospital’s Center for Human Development prior to establishing Cognitive Behavioral Solutions in 2005.

I am a private practice psychologist in Plymouth, and work with children, teens and adults who need individual and family counseling, evaluations, or school consultations. My practice is a private-pay model (I do not participate with insurance). Unfortunately, I am not taking new patients at this time.
